After putting out his first project, ‘Pardon My Intrusionʼ last year, Shola pushes through with yet another masterpiece – a 12 tracked offering titled “Troubled Child”.

Talking on the mixtape, the super talented rapper left a note:

“Over the years the internet has made music and life a little easier I’d say. Independent artists like myself struggle with financial crisis, we sometimes can’t afford to get into the studio and this frustration most times kills the talent or leaves the artists scared.
I consider myself blessed to be part of this generation, though some part of it feels crazy. Part of it makes me ask questions, wonder and reflect. I made this tape for hip hop, for the culture, for growth, for poetry, for hope, for truth, Art and for everyone that loves good music.
God first, I can’t thank my team enough for the support, my friends who gave their studio to creating this beautiful pieces and my family.
I hope in time i can grow to be better and get to work with a lot more people, get my bread up, continue writing my story, their story, your story and our story”.
